For DWLS 2, the maximum penalty is 365 days in jail and a $5,000 fine. First offense penalties for 2nd degree usually range from one or two days in jail and a $400 fine, much higher in some places. Second degree DWLS also carries a one-year license revocation imposed by the Department of Licensing.
