Ellie was born in Oregon, first raised in Kentucky and later raised here in Bellingham, Washington. Ellie learned Spanish studying in Spain during part of high school while also teaching English, and studying in Costa Rica for a year of college. With a bachelor’s degree in Spanish, she also studied Sociology and International Affairs. Ellie attended a year of law school in The Bay Area of California, afterwards working as a law clerk at the local county’s district attorney’s office. Ellie’s experience includes working in foreign affairs, international human rights law, personal injury and wrongful death law, teaching Spanish, as well as interpreting and translating Spanish-English.

Outside of work, Ellie loves to run, hike, write, watercolor, learn foreign languages and history, and much more.
